Gerald began breathwork and cold training in 2015 and it quickly became a passion. After years of training and multiple courses, he became a certified breath coach in 2024.

He is a veteran of the United States Air Force with a background in aviation maintenance and a Registered Nurse with experience in transplant care, med-surg care, and the operating room. He’s an avid reader of the sciences, self- help and wellness, as well as Stoic philosophy. Gerald founded The Stoic Nurse LLC which aims to promote wellness through these avenues and applications.

Gerald has also incorporated breathwork practice into adventure athletics and family life which he hopes to see expanded further.
